  1. I remember my mother walking me through KMart and teaching me about wants and needs. She would often say, “Is that a want or a need?” It taught me a lot about being thrifty and I still hear her voice in my head today when I'm tempted to give in to my wants too much! LOL!

    At our church, they provide snacks after service for everyone. The people who head it up asked us to mention to the children to only take two snacks..because the snacks were piling up on their plates. My kids were ok with that, until, a man in front of me had THREE things on his plate, and my oldest yells out, “Hey! Why does he get THREE THINGS and I only get TWO!!!” Yeah….I wanted to hide. LOL!
