Hi, I’m Kathleen, and I’m a trauma-informed writer.
I’ve taught creative and research writing to elementary, junior high, and high school students. I’ve coached women just like you who wanted to tell their stories and needed an extra dose of courage to do so. I’ve written nine books (fiction and nonfiction).
“I’m a writer.”
There was a time I couldn’t say those words. I said, “I want to be a writer.” Even after I published my first book – A Positive Adoption Story– I was waiting for someone to give me permission to be a writer.
Maybe that’s you too. You want to tell your story in the form of a book. You believe telling your story will help others. You’ve dreamed of being an author, but you’re sitting on the sidelines waiting for the fear to subside.
Don’t wait any longer.
