Five Minute Friday -Exhale
Five Minute Friday -Exhale
I stretch my legs, muscle burning tired. It’s been a long wonderful day in Frostburg at the pool. My CFS symptoms have been flaring and I began the trip with questions such as, “What if I run out of energy? What if I feel terrible half way through and can’t drive?”
To which, I answered, lead by the Holy Spirit, “What if I have plenty of energy? What if I enjoy myself? What if I rise up on the wings of eagles and drive back with vigor?”
The day was glorious. Not too hot. Not too cold. Lots of pool side fun. Lots of conversation with daughters and play with four grandchildren.
After a cup of coffee, about five I headed back.
And exhale. I made it. Driving back with plenty of energy. God met me there in the mountains with rain showers in the sunshine. Art work in the clouds. My son felt it too. He snapped this photo. STOP
Beautiful. And speaks directly to my heart. We must, we simply must, reclaim our thoughts. Take them captive to Christ and then watch while He shows up. Thank you for sharing your story of how this works in real life. And for sharing hope.
