Hurt Children Part III

10The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows). John 10:10

Satan determined from the beginning to destroy his especial prey-infants- spirit/soul/flesh creations- from the womb. The enmity of the host of hell and the offspring of Eve, flesh and blood humans, from the miraculous meeting of sperm and egg was evident from the beginning of history.

“In the ancient world, child sacrifice was a common phenomenon. Archaeologists have unearthed ancient cemeteries, near pagan temples, of babies that have been sacrificed-for example, in what used to be Carthage. Before the Jewish conquest of the promised land, child sacrifice among the Canaanites was commonplace. The prophets of the ancient God Baal and his wife Astoreth, commonly practiced child sacrifice as part of their worship.”- What if Jesus Had Never Been Born

Abortion was rampant as was the practice of exposure and abandonment in ancient Greece and Rome. Unwanted infants were left on cliffs or mountainsides to die from exposure,to be eaten by wild animals or picked up by a pervert in the darkness.

“A dismal fate awaited the youngsters of ancient Rome, Greece, India and China. Herod slaughtered the innocents, but the advent of Christ was the triumph of the innocents. Jesus gathered the little children unto Himself saying, :Let the little children come unto Me, and do not forbid them” (Matt 19:14a)” What if Jesus Had Never Been Born

Jesus valued children.

“He will bruise and tread on your head underfoot…”
Genesis 3:15

Jesus trampled on the ideas of the present culture. He came to restore and respect life. He came to heal the broken hearted, to set the captives free- those abandoned by their culture-the throwaways, bruised and murdered by satan. The children, sacrificed to pagan gods, discarded for convenience, raped, starved, rejected, murdered for a kingship, then Jesus came and said, let them come unto me, I value them!

The war rages on, each of us in our own arenas battling, holding up the cross of Christ reminding the master spirits, the world rulers of this present darkness, that Jesus has WON! We tread on the ideas, the self-centered myth of our culture that says children are disposable. We fight the good fight. We adopt according to the Word (James 1:27). We fall and get back up again, binding wounds, praying the Word, fasting for children who are bound by rejection whose stronghold is depravity and we stand in the gap until their light breaks through like the morning, their healing like the birth of a new day.

Heart for Adoption
hi, I’m Kathleen Guire I know you want quality Christian books for your family. In order to find them, you need to scour the library and bookstores. The problem is- not only is it a lot of work, but you often purchase a NY Times best seller or book recommended by a friend- only to find it has content you don’t want your family consuming. Content you feel as if you need to redact. You may feel as if there aren’t any new clean books that cover culturally relevant topics without graphic sex scenes and F*bombs. I believe books can be culturally relevant and clean at the same time. That’s why I write fiction mystery/thrillers your whole family can read. I write books that are wholesome with moral with value and plot twists at the same time. My characters have quirky coping mechanisms that are equivalent with their experience. All of my fiction books have a human trafficking theme.
