The Fast- My Vision
The Cliff.
I’ve been standing on the edge for fourteen years. At least, that is when I first had the vision. The vision came when the Guire family was knee-deep in paper work, the tangible signs of adoption pregnancy.
I went up to the altar at church for something totally unrelated and the vision came, like a movie played in my mind. It was so real, I glanced around to see if anyone else could see.
I was standing on the edge of a cliff next to Jesus. I leaned over and looked down. Children. Children as far as the eye could see.
“You are going to help all of these children,” Jesus said. That’s all He said. The End. Credits roll. Starring: JESUS, Kathleen and one million children.
I wept.
Me. A hurt child.
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke. Isaiah 58:6
The SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor and afflicted. He has sent me to bind up and heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and the eyes who are bound. Isaiah 61:1
So, what is this fast?
Tune in tomorrow!
